ADC-CM is currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager<\/strong> who can provide reliable, timely, and professional support, and assist with the day-to-day project management activities. The position entails working with participants at all levels of the organization. <\/i><\/div>Essential Functions<\/h4>
\n
- Is able to read and understand construction drawings.<\/li>\n
- Develop budget for projects.<\/li>\n
- Monitors project status for compliance with safety requirements.<\/li>\n
- Develop scopes of work and schedule for assigned projects.<\/li>\n
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, project logistical issues, budget, and scope.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate and track all Client Request For Proposals (\u201cRFPs\u201d)<\/li>\n
- Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.<\/li>\n
- Prepare\/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence.<\/li>\n
- Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors and the relocation of technical functions.<\/li>\n
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting Client and project requirements, in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.<\/li>\n
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services technology, as required for assigned projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1519942960667{margin-top: -25px !important;}”]
<\/i><\/div>Education & Experience<\/h4>
\n
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, preferred.<\/li>\n
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience \u2013 or a combination of relevant work experience, education, or an equivalent Military experience.<\/li>\n
- Experience in construction management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/div>Certifications & Licenses<\/h4>
\n
- LEED, AIA, PE, PMP certification, preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″]
<\/i><\/div>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<\/h4>

- Ability to prepare and track budgets.<\/li>\n
- Understanding of technical requirements for a business relocation, construction projects.<\/li>\n
- Familiarity with construction drawings a must.<\/li>\n
- Able to adapt and prioritize meeting deadlines in a fast-paced team or an independent environment.<\/li>\n
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with engineers, architects, contractors, client\u2019s representatives, and team members.<\/li>\n
- Flexibility with work hours.<\/li>\n

- Understands means and methods of construction associated with the renovation of commercial and institutional buildings typical throughout California.<\/li>\n

- Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules.<\/li>\n
- Understands how to effectively staff self-performed work activities to achieve levels of productivity that meet or exceed industry norms.<\/li>\n
- Has the ability to understand the function and purpose of the final product. Uses the knowledge to challenge the appropriateness of the work in progress.<\/li>\n
