ADC-CM is currently seeking an accountable Project Engineer<\/strong> to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that the projects involve. The position requires working with craft personnel and subcontractors as well as ADC-CM management and staff. A successful candidate will require skillful multi-tasking and ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and internal and external project participants.<\/p>\n<\/em><\/blockquote><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1645032193387{margin-top: -25px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1\/2″]
<\/i><\/div>Essential Job Functions:<\/h4>
\n
- Maintain various tracking logs.<\/li>\n
- Make daily phone calls to General Contractors to follow up on bid and project status.<\/li>\n
- Generate and track purchase orders, subcontracts, and other project management functions as required.<\/li>\n
- Maintain project documents.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate activities from bid to proposal.<\/li>\n
- Assist with bid preparation.<\/li>\n
- Work closely with a project manager, superintendents and accounting department.<\/li>\n
- Prepare and issue change orders.<\/li>\n
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.<\/li>\n
- Process Submittals and RFI’s.<\/li>\n
- Prepare close out documentation for projects.<\/li>\n
- Prepares project status reports.<\/li>\n
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA\/QC policies, performance standards and specifications<\/li>\n
- Interact daily with the clients, superintendents and project managers to support their needs and requirements.<\/li>\n
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.<\/li>\n
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions<\/li>\n
- Other assigned duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]
<\/i><\/div>Education & Experience<\/h4>
\n
- Bachelor\u2019s Degree or higher in Engineering or related field.<\/li>\n
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of Construction related experience.<\/li>\n
- Advanced MS Office, MS Projects and Procore skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/div>Certifications & Licenses<\/h4>
