Advance Technology

ADC-CM’s history is steeped in technology. Lorenzo Rios, CEO/President of ADC-CM and Founding Principal of Advance Design Consultants, Inc. (ADC) was part of the team that became known as “The Contractor that Built Silicon Valley” in the early ‘80s. He has built facilities for Silicon Valley’s early tech companies, including IBM, Intel and Advanced Micro Devices, and later Fairchild Semiconductor, Memorex, Xerox, Sylvania, Hewlett-Packard, National Semiconductor, Digital Equipment Corp., Microsoft; as well as Ames Research, NASA and Lockheed. That tradition and commitment to Advance Technology continues at ADC-CM.
Precision, sustainability and speed are primary concerns of our advanced technology clients. Their projects – including clean rooms, server rooms and R&D labs – contain highly technical mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEPF) systems that require complex coordination. ADC-CM’s access to its sister company, Advance Design Consultants’ in-house AMEPS and BIM teams allows our advance technology client to have the experience and technical know-how to digitally coordinate these complicated systems, avoiding costly clashes in the field. As these projects typically require large energy loads and higher water usage, our teams’ LEED expertise and MEPF coordination experience can contribute greatly to reducing energy needs, maximizing efficiencies, and lowering costs. Our advanced technology clients also often need their facilities built quickly, and benefit from ADC-CM’s proven abilities to meet aggressive, fast-track schedules without compromising quality or safety.
